How does the 30-day FREE Trial work?
For 30 days you have complete access to the full version. If you cancel your account within 30 days of signing up, you will not be charged anything. If you continue the account, billing will begin after the 30-Day free trial is over.
On how many websites can you setup Media Rush?
You select a web address/domain name (i.e. www.yourorganization.org) for which Media Rush is to be licensed. You may setup Media Rush on as many pages at that web address as you want.
What formats does MediaRush support?
You can use .mp3, .flv, and mp4 (mp4 files can have many difference extensions such as .mpg).
Where can you host your files?
You can store your files anywhere you want. You do not store your files inside MediaRush. You can use your own server in-house, use your website's hosted space, or get hosted space at the place of your choice on the web.
Can you archive all your audio, video, presentations, documents, etc.?
Yes! Media Rush has no limit to the number or size of your items. Your hosting space determines how much you can store.
Can you provide supporting items with an audio or video?
Yes! Media Rush is designed so you can associate unlimited items with a primary item. For example, if you have a video sermon, you can support it with a Word document that contains a message outline, a PowerPoint that contains illustrations, a PDF that contains a small group handout, etc.
What search features does Media Rush include?
You can browse by categories like Recent, Featured, Series, Date, Topic, and Speaker. Each category displays as a tab at the top of Media Rush. Also, you can type in any text and search the entire collection. Then results that match what you are looking for are displayed for you to access. For example, search for "marriage" and you may find 4 messages over the past 2 years.
What categories come built-in for you?
Recent, Featured, Series, Date, Topic, and Speaker are built-in categories. You can disable/enable any built-in category anytime.
How many user-defined categories can you create?
Hopefully unlimited will work for you. You can disable/enable any user-defined category anytime. When you create a category, a tab at the top of Media Rush is automatically created for you. Then you can group your audio and video files into categories.
In addition to categories, are there other ways to organize your items?
Yes! You can create unlimited groups within a category. For example, under Speakers you could create a group for each speaker so all that speakers items are in one place.
What podcasting options are provided?
You can subscribe to a podcast for any group including recently added and featured.
Can you save your favorites?
Yes! When you find an item that you like, you click on the Favorites + icon. Favorites are stored in a cookie on that computer. You can access your favorites anytime, just click Favorites and they are all at your fingertips.
What if you want to email a cool item to your friend?
No problem! When you find the item, you click the email icon, enter their email address and a quick note, click send, and off it goes.
Can you choose the look of Media Rush?
Yes! You can select the skin (color scheme) that matches your website best and you can switch to another one anytime.
What startup customization options are available?
You can customize the Media Rush experience. You can display Media Rush right in the content area of a page of your website. This means that you can maintain your brand because your website design will surround Media Rush. Or, you can have Media Rush open in a separate window. Also, you can setup a custom image or startup video for visitors when they open Media Rush.
Can you enlarge the viewing area for a video?
Yes! Click one button and enlarge the video to twice the size, or view full screen, or view just the video in a small window so you can do other things while you watch. Switch back to normal view anytime. *If any of the viewing options just mentioned are not present at this moment, they will be available shortly.
How long does it take to setup on your website?
It only takes a few minutes to signup and get the snippet of code. The amount of time to create a page on your website and drop in the snippet of code depends on how fast you can make that happen on your website. If you use a content management system then you should be able to do this in a few minutes. If you use a traditional website, then this will depend on whether you know how to do it or whether you have to get someone else to do it, and when they are available.
How do you get support?
Support is community based. If you have a question, you post it on the Media Rush forum and other Media Rush users as well as Media Rush forum monitors respond with an answer. When another Media Rush user posts a question, if you know the answer, you can help them.
